Hi everyone,

Janet Anderson and Lill Wark are co-chairing next Thursday's theme day. If you have not signed up and are planning to play, please send an e mail to Janet Anderson at Bearretired@gmail.com as soon as possible. Pairings are being done by Brian in advance and he needs time to look up handicaps, etc. If you have already signed up in the locker room disregard the above.

We will have our June meeting, regardless of weather, at the Fairways Grille beginning, hopefully, by 12:45pm.

Just a reminder that deadline for President's Cup sign up is June 26th.

Just a reminder that Rally for the Cure is this coming ladies day. Marily Hughes, Evelyn Bouchard and Cyndi Whalen are the committee. If you haven't signed up, you may do so on Thurs. before play. We will have our regular tournament day, but Rally for the Cure will be on the par 3 6th hole. Closest to the pin wins a pair of golf shoes and all those on the green in one will get a golf ball. The cost is $20.00 per person.

I hope you will all show your support in the fight against breast cancer.

Good Morning All,

Congrats to last Thursday's winners!

Just wanted to touch base with you all to please be mindful that it is not an easy task for the weekly tournament committee to organize groups for play and get us out on the course by 8:00am. We all need to sign in first and get our golf gear ready second. Diane and Sandi are on the porch by 7:15, or shortly thereafter, and set up to sign us in.

Also, if you are going to be late please call the clubhouse. Our numbers are growing each week and we need everyone's cooperation.

Hi All,

The Spring meeting of the BWGC will be held at Kosta's Restaurant, in Brewer, on Wed. May 5th at 5:30pm.

Due to the expected number of members attending, Kosta's has asked that we limit the number of entrees served. No need to e mail your choice. Just telling you what will be offered.

Entrees chosen are as follows:

10 oz. Rosemary Garlic Prime Rib $13.95

Chicken Marsala 11.95

Broiled or Fried Haddock 13.95

Pasta Dishes

Mediterranean Chicken 13.95

Homemade Lasagna 9.95

w/ meat sauce

Please respond by Sunday, May 2nd, if you will be able to attend or not.

Still looking for any ideas on what members want from their web site. I started a group on Facebook. Another tool to keep people informed or ways to blog.

I'm in the process of updating the web pages for 2009. I am always looking for IDEAS!!! What do you want to see? What would it take to check the website of BWGC regularly? More Photos?

How about the BLOG?

I am working on a new MEMBERS area with information on each member. The current section has not been update since 2008. more to come later

Golf course directory view it but.......Still work in progress......delayed in design 2010 Another project that never did get finished time to discontinue this too.

2010- The Birdie Tree for the web page will be discontinued. It was fun for awhile but I think it is time to start something else. Any suggestions?

2008- Try the Birdie Tree. You can add your own BIRDES. Yes you still write on the board in lockerroom. This is for own web site.

2007 - New to the Birdie Tree is you can add you birdies. Very simple just click the add your birdie under the Birdie Tree and follow the instructions.
