Hi All,

We had a great time today golfing at Lucerne and then eating, chatting and boating at Marilyn and Marlene's camp. Sorry if you weren't able to join us.

Next Thursday, the 28th, is a theme day and we are asking everyone to wear black and white. Please don't ask me if the top should be white or the bottom be black.........it doesn't matter!!!! Just black and white! The format will be the 2 best balls on each hole per team. Net and gross. A meeting will follow play.

Please be sure and either sign up in the locker room (Brian takes the sign up sheet to the pro shop on Monday) or call the pro shop. (941-0232) no later than Wed. at 5:00pm. As usual, we will tee off at 8:00am, so please be on the porch and ready to play by 7:45.

For those that may be playing President cup matches, it is suggested that you not be part of the tournament, but that is up to you. Brian does need to know if you are playing a match before he does the pairings for the tournament.

I guess that's it for now. I won't be checking my computer for a few days so if you have any questions you can call my cell 944-6335.

Hi all,

In case you weren't at golf today here are a few reminders.

Next week, July 21st, we are playing ladies Day at Lucerne. 8:00am tee off. Must sign up to play by next Monday. Sign up sheet is in the locker room. Lunch at Marilyn and Marlene's, at the lake, following play. Please bring a box lunch. Salads and desserts will be provided.

The sign up sheets are up for Rally For The Cure.( Thurs. Aug 18th) Please plan to play and bring a guest. The deadline for sign up is August 11th.

The sign up sheet for club championship is in the locker room. Will be played on Wed August 3rd and Thurs. August 4th. Tee off is at 8:00. Maybe earlier if your playing partners are there and ready to go. Brian will do the pairings.

Good Morning!

This is a recap on what was discussed at the meeting concerning Rally For The Cure.

We are hoping it will be our big tournament of the season and all are encouraged to a bring a guest(s)

Will be held on Aug. 18th with tee off at 8:00am. The deadline for sign up is Aug. 11th. Sign up sheet is in the locker room. We need your name, the name of your guest, their handicap(if they don't have one please talk to Brian) and if you would like a cart.

The cost will be $15.00 for the round and $14.00 if you want a cart.

The usual $5.00 for the tournament will be paid. The format will be a scramble with continuous putting.

To participate in Rally For The Cure the cost is $20.00. Not mandatory, but hoping everyone will support this very worthwhile fund raiser. There is a sign up sheet in the locker room. If you want to pay your $20.00 in advance, please leave your money in the pro shop. Checks are requested, but you can pay in cash. A luncheon will follow play. The cost is yet to be determined, but it will be reasonable.

Marie MacMillan made an in memory of/in honor of board and it has been posted in the inside entry to the pro shop. $5.00 per name. Please pay in the pro shop.

We will also have a sign up sheet in the locker room soon for members to bring in food, etc. so we can have goodies before we go out to play.

Still looking for any ideas on what members want from their web site. I started a group on Facebook. Another tool to keep people informed or ways to blog.

I'm in the process of updating the web pages for 2009. I am always looking for IDEAS!!! What do you want to see? What would it take to check the website of BWGC regularly? More Photos?

How about the BLOG?

I am working on a new MEMBERS area with information on each member. The current section has not been update since 2008. more to come later

Golf course directory view it but.......Still work in progress......delayed in design 2010 Another project that never did get finished time to discontinue this too.

2010- The Birdie Tree for the web page will be discontinued. It was fun for awhile but I think it is time to start something else. Any suggestions?

2008- Try the Birdie Tree. You can add your own BIRDES. Yes you still write on the board in lockerroom. This is for own web site.

2007 - New to the Birdie Tree is you can add you birdies. Very simple just click the add your birdie under the Birdie Tree and follow the instructions.
